Challenge 2: Learn to say “Happy New Year” in Mandarin

This challenge is easy!

Monday 23 January is Chinese New Year for 2012 – it’s the Year of the Dragon, believed to be particularly good fortune and prosperity for the Chinese people, and anyone born in that year (it comes around every 12 years).

Learn to wish someone a Happy New Year in Mandarin.

When you’re done, post a video of your group wishing someone a Happy New Year. And then why not do it for real on Monday?

Remember to use the appropriate category and tags…
